Pexton Grange is a private nursing home, operated by Brancaster Care Homes Ltd. and registered with the Care Quality Commission. The home is rated as “excellent”, which puts the home in the top 4% of all nursing homes in Sheffield.
Pexton Grange is a purpose built nursing home, built in the 1990’s and designed to optimise the land on which it is constructed. Spread over three floors and catering for a variety of service users, Pexton Grange is registered to provide nursing care for clients over the age of 18.

Situated within a mile of Sheffield’s Northern General Hospital, Pexton Grange is a purpose built home stands on a hillside with far reaching views of Sheffield. Opened in 1996, we have built up a fine reputation as a leader in nursing, palliative and intermediate care. Working with the local PCT we have developed a therapy and rehabilitation centre.

The Six Steps to Success programme aims to enhance end of life care developed in the North West of England by the Cheshire & Merseyside Clinical Network and the Greater Manchester, Lancs & South Cumbria Clinical Network with support from the National End of Life Care Programme.
The Gold Standards Framework creditation is recognised by the Care Quality Commission as an endorsement of the ability to provide the provision of gold standard care for those nearing the end of life. It is a recognised “kite mark” of excellence and is supported by the Royal College of GPs, Care England and other national care homes bodies, British Geriatrics Society, the Community Hospital Association, Association of Retirement Community Operators and others.
