A Little Bit About East Croft Grange

East Croft Grange is a private residential home, operated by Brancaster Care Homes Ltd and registered with Cumbria CQC. Situated in the village of High Harringto.
We provide facilities for 31 elderly ladies and gentlemen, requiring 24 hour residential or dementia care. East Croft Grange has a long established history of caring, having been converted to a residential home a number of years ago. The building was built in 1873 as a mansion for the local shipping line owner Capt. John Gambles, who owned a number of ships including one called “East Croft”. We have built a fine reputation as a leader in residential and dementia care in the West Cumbria area and we work closely with local social services and community nurses. Built over two storeys, passenger lifts serve both floors. We also have a specialised dementia wing. We pride ourselves on knowing each of our resident’s care and social needs. To do this from the outset we need to get to know you a little better. So, in advance of your stay, we will spend time discussing a personalised care plan with you and your family, incorporating any special needs and requirements that you may have.

Our Location

We are easily accessible from all major road links and are ideally placed within easy distance of the regular bus route and the local Post Office.
